It’s been forever since I’ve written a ride or ride post, so I’m pretty excited about this one! Mascara is definitely one of those beauty products that would make my top five must-haves. To me, a nice coat of mascara changes an entire look and it’s something I never skip in my beauty regime. There are so many mascaras out on the market nowadays, so today I’m sharing a few of my favorites with you!
Benefit Roller Lash
A cult favorite in the beauty world and with good reason! I tried other mascaras from Benefit and wasn’t super impressed, but I was so drawn to this one. My lashes are straight and rarely hold a curl, and I love that Roller Lash really grips onto the lashes. When I use this I’m left with lashes so curled that I even skip a lash curler!
Urban Decay Preversion
In addition to being ultra straight, my lashes are also not very long. Basically, my lashes suck. When I’m looking for a mascara, I like to find someone that’ll give me volume as well as a bit of length too. Luckily, Urban Decay’s Preversion gives a bit of both. Be warned, though, to me this mascara is very wet, so make sure you don’t sneeze after applying!
L’Oreal Voluminous Superstar
This product is a double sided deal with a primer on one end with a volumizing mascara on the other. To be totally honest, I’m not a fan of the black mascara part of this one. What I really love is the white primer side. I find that the primer clings to the very tips of my lashes so when I go over with another one, I get a bit of extra length. I’ve tried high end mascara primers and I think this works just as well. Plus, it’s totally affordable!
Maybelline Lash Sensational
Anotber affordable mascara that performs surprisingly well! I don’t know why it took me so long to try this out but now that I have, I understand why so many people love it. I can get lots of volume from this mascara but not a whole lot of length. In addition, this makes your lashes super dark, so you could skip eyeliner!
