What I’ve Been Loving in March

March 29, 2017

I’m sure that this is probably going to make me sound like a broken record, but where in the world has time gone? I feel like barely any time has passed by when in reality, it’s already been a month since I posted my last monthly favorites and we’re already going into April. Listen, 2017. I’m not okay with this.

While time is zooming by us, I’m excited to share a few of my favorites that I’ve really been enjoying this month, as I’ve found a few products that I’ve really been enjoying. First and foremost has to be the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I’ve been all about a good skincare product lately and taking care of my skin is something that I want to get better about. Serums are something that I especially enjoy using, because I feel like it’s the step in my skincare routine where I can give my skin a little extra TLC. Ole Henriksen’s Truth Serum is packed with vitamin C, collagen, and antioxidants to give your skin a boost of brightness, firmness, and hydration all in a super fast absorbing serum. I can see that my skin is looking brighter since using this and I find that it sits really well under my makeup.

On the same wavelength of bright skin, I’ve been in love with the Feeling Younger skin tint from Lush recently. Don’t be fooled by the name, though, because I feel like it suggests a product that is packed full of color, but Feeling Younger definitely isn’t. Instead, it’s a beautiful cream highlight that looks amazing when it catches the light just perfectly and it’s great for everyday wear when you just want a bit of glow on your cheekbones (and if you’re like me, on your cupid’s bow and the tip of your nose). The thing that I love about this the most is that it doesn’t wear off on me throughout the day, and looks just as good at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it. Bonus: a little goes a long way, so this little jar will last me forever.

Onto lip products (shocker), there were a couple of standout products throughout the month that really impressed me. If you read last month’s favorites post, then you would have seen that I was loving a Huda Beauty lip contour pencil. I still love that product and use it pretty regularly, but after finally trying one of the liquid matte lipsticks, I am truly a changed woman. I bought the shade Bombshell, which is described as a subtle pinky nude and I find that it’s a perfect color to throw on in the morning. This stuff lasts a good few hours on me, even after y breakfast and morning coffee. No matter what color I’m wearing on my lips, though, I know that I would be nothing without the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. This stuff is great for replenishing moisture and I especially love using this at night right before bed. When I wake up, my lips are all set for whatever color I want to use.

Finally, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that Ed Sheeran released his new album and I am totally obsessed. Some favorite tunes from the album include Nancy Mulligan, New Man, and Galway Girl but I do love Save Myself, too.

Do you have anything at all that you’ve been loving throughout the month of March? Drop a comment, I’d love to hear all about them!

    • Absolutely, because that’s what I’ve been using it for! I’ve found that my post-acne scars have really diminished since using this serum and overall my complexion is brighter!
